Greenwood: This is the latest in a string of class actions aimed at the AMP after
serious allegations in the Banking and Financial Royal Commission.
Its also the second class action by the legal firm Slater & Gordon at the AMP, in this case superannuation investors going all the way back to 2008 are invited to join this class action for potential payouts
Rapoport, Slater and Gordon Senior Associate: The evidence of
the Royal Commission really shocked us and showed that the industry of the
retail super funds have not been doing the right thing, have not been properly
supervised by regulators.
AMP late today said it would vigorously defend this class action and urged customers
with complaints to contact it directly.
